Who we are

EldenEleKibris.com ("the Site", "we") is a free North Kıbrıs classifieds platform. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and how you can have it deleted. Contact: support@eldenelekibris.com.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account we store your email, chosen username, and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).

Facebook Login. If you sign in with Facebook, we receive your name, email, and Facebook ID to create or log into your account. We do not post to Facebook on your behalf and do not access your friends list.

Content you submit. Listings (title, description, price, location, the phone/WhatsApp number you choose to publish) and photos are stored. Location and camera metadata (EXIF) is stripped from every photo before storage. The number you publish is public by design — that's how buyers reach you.

Messages. Messages you exchange with other members are stored so the conversation can be shown to its participants, and kept until the related listing is purged.

Technical data. A session cookie keeps you logged in; cookies store your language/currency/theme preferences. Your IP is recorded when you post (spam prevention) and a salted hash of it when you report. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising.

How we use it

We use your information solely to operate the Site: authenticating you, displaying your listings, and moderating content. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure that runs the Site (Cloudflare).

Data deletion

Removing a listing unpublishes it immediately; it is purged permanently by the next cleanup cycle. To delete your account and everything tied to it (listings, photos, messages, businesses, pet posts), email support@eldenelekibris.com from the account's email address; we complete the request within 30 days. If you used Facebook Login, this also removes the Facebook link.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest revision.
